21 weeks!

Yesterday I had my official anatomy ultrasound finally. Switching insurance and finding a doctor out here took longer then anticipated so everything was a little delayed. But it is still a girl and the doctor said she's beautiful. Everything seems to be growing as it should and she's on track to come end of July still.
Her nose is looking just like Thomas's to me. I just can't wait to find out if she will be a red head too!!! And if she will be a huge 9 pounder like her brother.
It took the tech awhile to get all the images she needed. She was kicking and rolling and being so so stubborn! We watched her little legs literally wind up and explode out in huge kicks.

Ultrasounds are amazing. They were nice to show me a 3d version and it just made me all emotional. Seeing all of her tiny little face and body made me so grateful for the opportunity to be a mom again. And for modern medicine and technology that allow us to be so prepared and knowledgable. We love this baby so much already!

Name options have been harder then I thought, but we are leaning towards Annabelle Grace. We would probably call her Annie most of the time. We have a few others we have talked about but we will see when the time comes!

Thomas's new thing is to line up all of his toys. His cars and trucks and his bath toys are his favorites.
He wore shorts a few days ago! I can't wait for warm weather and summertime.
For family night Monday we went to get ice cream treats. Thomas DEMOLISHED his ice cream cone. And did a pretty good job staying clean too.
JT is headed to Vegas this weekend to see his friends and for March madness. I'm so happy he gets to go, his friends are great and I'm sure they will have way too much fun. Now thomas and I just need to find something to keep us busy! We are hoping to do a Utah trip of our own in April or May if we can.

Seattle!

We went to Seattle this past weekend just for the day and we had so much fun! It's a little over two hours away from us so we spent awhile in the car, but Thomas did great and it was fun to make the drive. Seattle is especially fun for us since JT served his mission there, so as soon as we started seeing his old areas he was reminiscing and telling old mission stories. We also went to Mt. Rainier on our honeymoon and came into Seattle one day of it, AND came back again shortly after we got married for a baptism of someone JT taught on his mission. So basically we really love this place! It is such an amazing city, unlike any other that I've been too before with all of the ports right along the coast.
We went to early lunch at MOD pizza. Which is seriously to die for. They have them in portland too but we could eat there daily if we were rich enough. It's basically a chipotle type place but with pizza instead.
After lunch we hiked a few blocks down to Pikes Place market and the Oceanside attractions. Pikes Place is always packed but is full of fresh fruit and veggies and flowers and tons of little vendors and restaurants. It's probably the most touristy thing to do in the city.
When we came on our honeymoon we bought these little cheesecakes that we have honestly thought about multiple times since we first got them. So of course we got them again! From a little vendor called The Confectional. So so yummy.

We thought it would be fun to take a ferry ride, especially for Thomas. I also wanted to see what the islands are like out there! We just went there and came straight back, but Bainbridge Island was amazing. Gorgeous homes right on the water, I would love to visit there in the summer and stay a few nights!
It was so cold and windy out on the decks! Thomas wasn't sure about it.
Eventually he fell asleep in his stroller, I'm sure he was so exhausted all day. He loved all the commotion of the city though. Watching the dogs and birds everywhere was his favorite thing.
The city from the island.
That's Mt. Rainier on the left!
After we explored and walked around for hours, my legs were hurting and my ever growing belly was cramping so we headed back to the car. I read a lot about a local ice cream place called Molly Moons so we went there for another treat and it was so good!
I originally got their salted caramel flavor because I had read so many good reviews about it. Let me just say-ew. So gross and salty. So I was a baby about it until JT went up and asked if we could have a different flavor haha. He is the best. Chocolate fudge brownie was much better.
We stopped for dinner in Tacoma at a little Mexican place and then made the drive home! It was a long day, and we definitely ate way too much food, but it was just the adventure I had been craving. I can't wait to go back again sometime soon!
