Christmas 2015

Since I haven't blogged since Annabelle was born, I figured I needed to start back up again and today is the perfect day to do it. We had the best Christmas, even though my family is out of town. We celebrated with them this past Sunday. We were lucky to spend Christmas Eve with JTs mom and sisters and our Christmas morning with his dad. I didn't take a single picture last night until we got home for our PJ pictures. But we had so much fun with family and the kids were extra spoiled this year.
This little miss turned 5 months 2 days ago. We just love her!
Thomas really didn't want to do pictures last night. I'm surprised we even got a good one! We couldn't find our camera tripod so we put the selfie stick we got for free a few months ago to good use.

The kids woke up a little before 8 this morning and JTs dad and shelle came over a little after 8. We woke up to so much snow! JT went out with Thomas to shovel a path so people could get through.
Thomas had a hard time waiting to open everything, but we wanted to wait for grandma and grandpa so he dealt with it and just stared at presents. We brought his Santa presents and stocking out when they got there. He has already mastered riding his scooter so well!
He had so much fun and loved every minute of it. I can honestly say there is nothing better then Christmas morning as a parent.

I made breakfast and we ate and relaxed the rest of the day! We did go on a drive through American fork canyon to see all the snow. But Thomas got whiney and Annabelle was tired so it didn't last long. It was beautiful though!!
I'm so grateful for my savior and this time of year where we can remember all we have to be thankful for. My family is my greatest blessing and I never imagined having the life I've been blessed with. Merry Christmas!

Camera Pictures:: Easter Morning

A few years ago for Christmas we got a nice Canon camera-sadly we are not very good at remembering to use it! I think we have used it twice since moving to Washington-so this post is just an upload of pictures from there.  Most are from the Tulip farm we went too a few weekends ago. This first one JT took randomly one day of Thomas...it might be one of my favorite pictures of him.  I just love him and his red hair and big blue eyes.

These next ones are from Easter morning.  We had a lazy Easter morning, with it being conference weekend (which was fabulous).  General Conference weekends are my favorite-I always feel so spiritually refreshed and renewed and like I can do anything!  We had a big yummy breakfast with cinnamon rolls and fruit and sausage bake and juice and relaxed most of the day.  Thomas was so curious about his trail of eggs leading to his basket, and he probably just stared at his little basket for a good minute or two before going to touch it...almost like he wasn't sure if he was allowed to or not.

Clearly we need to be much better about getting our camera out.  Something to work on!

And some phone randoms from the weekend too:

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was on Saturday this year and we had such a fun family day together! I got up with thomas at about 630 and we made breakfast burritos for JT, who got to sleep in a little bit. He wakes up early with Thomas 90% of the time, and I am so grateful to him for it! We ate our breakfast and thomas played with his new play kitchen I found for cheap and on sale too! I brought him upstairs when he woke up and as soon as he saw it he almost fell over from trying to run to it so fast. He was so excited. I've been wanting to get one for him for awhile now, kitchen stuff is his favorite thing to play with and has been for a long time now. The little stove burners light up and make noise, and he loves to open the stove and fridge and all that. It's adorable.
The oregon zoo had a free day so we got ready and left at about 915 to go! It didn't open until 10 but I figured it would get really crowded quickly, and it did, so we went early. JT and I went to this zoo on our honeymoon one day randomly, but we didn't stay long or see hardly any of it.  It is such a great zoo!! Sooo much better then the utah one. Thomas loved it and would laugh and point at all the different animals. We stayed about two hours and still didn't see it all. But Thomas got tired and the zoo got seriously so crowded so it was a good time to leave.
The four lion cubs were our favorite. They reminded me of Thomas a little bit with all their wild energy and playing.
Thomas fell asleep instantly in the car on our drive back and ended up taking a FOUR hour nap. Yes. Four!!! It was much needed.

We found a cheap little grill at lowes Friday night that we bought as our valentines present, and the weather was so nice that we grilled burgers and made our favorite pasta salad and the best fruit dip and had a dinner that made it feel like summer time. It was the first day since moving out here where I really felt happy and content with where we are. Slowly but surely I'm learning to love Washigton and I am so so thankful for my two valentines! Three including baby #2!
