Lazy days

Thomas and I have had pretty uneventful days the last little while. It's rained just about everyday, but we've managed a few good walks around the neighborhood when it decides to let up. He still doesn't quite get what rain is, he just scrunches his face up and gets all mad like, "mom why the heck are you letting this stuff touch me?!" Im sure it won't take long for him to get used too.

We spent the weekend painting our basement playroom and Thomas's bedroom downstairs. We get new carpet tomorrow upstairs in our room and the loft and in the basement-hallelujah-the carpet now literally makes me want to throw up! I'm so glad our landlord is a nice and understanding guy. We just found out the last tenant of 5 years was a stripper.....I have no words about that!! Anyways...
This was our basement play room before..I'll post after pictures once we get carpet tomorrow!
That wall on the left has primer on it, I forgot to take a picture before we started. The bathroom is there on the left and there's two bedrooms behind where JT is standing to take the picture. We have shelves and are in the process of getting a futon for down here-it's been nice to have a place for all of Thomas's toys! He is way too spoiled I swear.

Satirday we went to a dog show at the expo center in Portland. Thomas was in heaven. So happy and so much energy because he was around so many animals. It was actually so entertaining and it made me miss Duncan!
This dog was huge...and only 9 months old. She was so sweet and just let thomas poke and grab at her!
And this is what it looked like all day on Saturday...I have never seen this much rain in my life.
We cross this bridge everytime we go into Portland. It's huge and goes over the Columbia river.
Here's a few random pictures..
He's turned into quite the professional tantrum thrower.
We went to the mall one night..we were really excited to push him around in this but the machine ate our money. So we pretended.
Climbing everywhere!
He's growing way too fast!
