I did it. Finally.

I have had multiple people for years (it seems like at least) tell me that I should start a blog. I feel like it's kind of the thing to do once you get married, have babies, and turn into real adults. We are moving to Vancouver, WA two weeks from today  to start a new adventure for JTs career so I finally listened to all these people and made the jump, with help from my dear friend Sara. She helped me get it all set up yesterday and waited for what seemed like hours to her I'm sure for me to come up with a name and all that stuff.  Since we will be living 13 hours away from every single person we know and love, I decided there is no better time then right now. I'm so so excited to have finally started this and have a record of our little families memories.

For anyone who doesn't know, we are moving to Vancouver for JT to start a new company in self storage facilities/management. He has teamed up with some awesome guys and we are so excited for this to finally be here and get it going! It will be quite the change in our lives to be so far from our family. We have been blessed to live extremely close to all of our parents, siblings, and extended family since we met. Thomas will be greatly missed by grandparents and I can't even talk about how sad it makes me for him to not be close to them. If all goes well, we will be able to come back in about 4 years and settle down here for good. So keep your fingers crossed for us!!

Thomas has been a teething monster for what seems like forever, so I'll leave you with this happy picture. I think he is making this face at least half of every day, poor kid.  And dang molars! I have decided there is almost nothing worse than teething for both parents and children. Someone once told me that red heads have a harder time teething then other kids...I remember laughing and thinking they were crazy but I may be starting to believe that whole heartedly now.  Add that to him falling down the stairs for the first time today (worst mom moment ever) and you could say I'm happy he is in bed already. I plan on not moving for the rest of the night I think. Until next time!
